Urea and AMS in Short Supply and Side Dressing Nitrogen

Fertilizer Update by Rob Fritz

Urea and AMS are all in extremely short supply at this time due to high water levels at the twin cities terminals. The supply issues are holding 28% markets steady. We should be seeing the end of sidedress N use soon and getting summer fill pricing soon.

Side Dressing N

There are lot of acres of corn that could use some mid -season nitrogen. Side dressing can be done many different ways, coulters with knife or liquid injectors, drop nozzles or drag hoses. One of these options might be a good way for you to give your corn crop a boost during this fast growth stage. Give me a call at 1-800-274-3389 if you have any questions.
