| Fertilizer Update
 The pricing on dry fertilizer is a spot market at this time, and the nitrogen market is slowly rising. We should soon be getting prices set for prepay on fall deliveries.
The liquid market is not even offering a price on nitrogen at this time. We will be looking to see that price get locked in sometime during the next week.

Equipment Tips
 Preventative Insecticide Applications
Although we have not seen any soybean aphid outbreaks yet this season, we will more than likely have an outbreak before the end of summer. If you are going to spray insecticide as a preventative measure, you will want the best coverage possible. I would recommend using 15 gallons of water per acre, and apply using a twin fan or at least a flat fan spray tip at high pressure (40 psi or more).
