ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- Primary responsibility is performance of computer-based inventory tracking
- Performs verification of inventory to ensure material is complete and accurate, communicates directly to customer to correct product.
- Interacts directly with customer’s vendors to address and resolve material discrepancies.
- Performs daily activities, which are necessary in order to maintain effective inventory records.
- Communicates with the customers and supervisor regarding inventory issues.
- Assist the management staff in planning and organizing inventory levels.
- May perform weekly cycle counts and make necessary system adjustments.
- Conducts searches in order to locate misclassified inventory.
- The incumbent is also responsible for knowing, understanding, communicating, and being fully compliant to all related processes and procedures.
