Tours will start at 4 pm from the Hefty Seed Company offi ce near Baltic. You’ll see field trials in corn, soybeans, and wheat. We’ve got lots of new things we’re experimenting with again this year including herbicides, insecticides, seed treatments, fungicides, new seed traits and a live tiling demonstration. All this will be located in 1 big field right on our farm with no additional driving.

Earlier in the day, we will have several optional tours available, as well, if you want to spend the whole day with us. These tours will include EROS Data Center, the Ag PhD Studios, Raven’s Research Station, an ethanol plant, and possibly more. We’ll give you the complete list and times in next month’s newsletter. Immediately after the Field Day, Brian Hefty will be hosting a meal and activities on his farm 1.5 miles east of the Hefty Seed Company store near Baltic. He will have inflatables for kids all throughout the day and evening, as well as entertainment for adults at 7:30 pm. Whether you’ve attended our Summer Field Day in the past or not, you won’t want to miss this year’s big event!
